Church agreement

1. Booking commitments

A booking request should accurately describe the date, time, location, and scope of the event you're booking for. Once a Musician accepts, you're committing to that booking — cancelling on short notice affects the Musician you booked and may still result in a charge, as described in our Terms of Service.

2. Fees and payment

You pay the Musician's published rate in full, plus Worship Scout's booking fee and an estimated card processing cost, both shown before you confirm a booking. Charges are made to the payment method on file for your account. An optional location subscription can reduce your booking fee to $0 while it's active — see your account page for current pricing.

3. Payment holds, complaints, and disputes

If you have a concern about a booking — the Musician doesn't show, the performance doesn't match what was agreed, or anything similar — you can file a report through the Service. We may investigate, which can include contacting you and the Musician separately, reviewing messages or booking details, and asking either side for more information.

Depending on what we find, we may adjust, refund, or withhold all or part of a charge as part of resolving a report — that decision is ours to make, at our sole discretion, and filing a report doesn't guarantee a particular outcome. This is in addition to, not instead of, the dispute-resolution terms in our Terms of Service.

4. Booking directly, outside Worship Scout

Worship Scout connects you with Musicians so both sides can find each other — that connection is the value we provide, and it's how we're able to run the platform, including the dispute handling described above.

Once you've booked a Musician through Worship Scout, you agree not to independently arrange or accept a future booking with that same Musician outside the Service — whether direct, through another platform, or by any other means — without going through Worship Scout. This applies to any Musician you first booked through the platform, regardless of who initiates the direct arrangement.

If we determine that you've booked, or attempted to book, directly with a Musician you first connected with through Worship Scout, we may withhold any refund or credit otherwise due to you, and we may suspend or terminate your access to the platform, in addition to any other remedies available to us. If a Musician tells us they were asked to book with you directly outside the Service, we may treat that as a report of a violation under this section.

5. Conduct

Represent your event and organization accurately, and provide a safe, respectful environment for the Musicians you book. We can remove content, warn, suspend, or terminate an account that violates this agreement or otherwise misuses the platform, with or without notice.

6. Questions
